Our Story
Joy Haven Benefits Advisory was founded in 2012 by Margaret Chen, a former social worker who saw too many pensioners missing out on benefits they were entitled to. What began as informal help for neighbours grew into a dedicated advisory service.
Based in central London, we've helped thousands of older people understand and access Winter Fuel Payments and other heating-related benefits. Our approach is simple: clear information, patient guidance, and genuine care.
We believe everyone deserves to stay warm in winter, and navigating the benefits system shouldn't be a barrier to that basic need.
